Dale Williams has served as our Pastor since March of 1989. He and his wife, Shirley, have been married for twenty-six years. They have four children: Tabitha (Kyle) Hayes, Brenna , Eric , Philip, and one grandson. Whether it is enjoying a walk in Warrenville Grove, helping at the Summer Daze celebration, enjoying the resources of the Warrenville library, or delivering meals to seniors, they have enjoyed being able to raise their children in such a great community.
Since the early 70's Dale sensed the Lord's leading to serve in pastoral ministry. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College with a B.A. in 1986. He counts it a privilege and a blessing to have been able to shepherd long enough to see children that were born since he arrived in Warrenville, graduate from High school and prepare to serve the Lord in the future. He loves teaching the Word, discipling men, and working with a variety of ages in the church's different ministries.
On the personal side, he loves to read history, write poetry, watch an old film with his family, or camp when he gets the opportunity. His favorite hiking spot is Matthiessen State Park near Oglesby.
Dale has served on the board of the Chicago Area Church Planters, Inc. since 1997. He has also served seven terms on the Council of Ten for the Illinois-Missouri Association of Regular Baptist Churches.
